The food on the Costa Blanca is at the centre of the Mediterranean diet. According to the area and season, the Costa Blanca is rich in fish, vegetables, olive oil, flour, rice and fruits.
The produce used is locally sourced from land and sea and very good quality.
In various areas traditions of food combine Celtic, Latin American, Greek, roman and Moroccan styles of cooking.
Taste typical dishes of these styles made by hand e.g. ice cream from Jijona, made from traditional “Turron” consisting of almonds.
